Building a Weekly Bias Routine
A compact Sunday routine for setting trend bias before the Australian week opens, using structure and momentum together.
Weekly bias is not a prediction of Monday’s open. It is a statement of which side of the market you are willing to favour if price offers a setup. Start with the weekly chart: mark the last swing high and low, note whether price closed nearer highs or lows, and glance at a weekly momentum reading.
Then drop to daily. Ask whether daily structure agrees with the weekly lean. If they conflict, reduce size expectations for the week or stay flat until alignment returns. Write the bias in one line — bullish, bearish, or neutral — and list the invalidation level that would flip it.
Traders who skip this step often invent a new story every session. A written weekly bias keeps intraday momentum signals honest.
